One of the biggest concerns I had when I started blogging
was how to back up a blog.
Fortunately, the guys at Backup Creator figured it out.
This very simple plugin for a WordPress blog is so easy to
use that you’ll have no excuse not to back up your site
ever again.
(I use it the first week of the month to back up all my
blogs.)
It is a simple plugin (an additional piece of software that
is congruent with WP blog software) that you download and
install. Then, when it’s time to back up, it just takes a
couple of clicks and before you can say jack-robin-son, the
zipped up file will be sent to your inbox.
I save the back ups to my hard drive, which in turn is
regularly backed up to a storage drive.
While Robert, the fellow who coded this little goody, is a
totally techie, the instruction manual that comes with the
plug in is excellent. And in plain English.
The first time I used it it took about 10-15 minutes to
read through the manual and then go back and carefully
follow all the steps in the manual, holding my breath.
By the second month, I was sailing through. By the third
month, it took seconds not minutes. In fact, for one large
site, I clicked on the start button, looked at my email
inbox and found the back-up zip file was already there.

Yes I do get a small affiliate payment when you purchase.
It’s part of my plan for monetzing my sites. More soon
about this topic.
