Friday Tips: Be Sure to Make Your Links Clickable

Friday, April 29th, 2011

I’ve seen so many emails and blog posts recently with some version of “just go to this site: mysite.com”

But, it’s not a clickable link.

Which means anyone who really wants to go to the site must enter the url of the site into the nav bar on their browser. I know it only takes a minute, but it’s so easy to misspell a long or complicated url, or even a short one if someone is in a hurry or not paying attention.

(I just misspelled the url for this site as I was logging in to write more posts!)

So, always add the http:// before the site name.

Like http://1pb-5percentsolution.com

It’s a url that almost anyone, even me would get wrong. But, it’s a great product and can make your life easier and your business more profitable.

Thursday, February 24th, 2011

Recently I got a call from a colleague who said her office was such a disaster she shut the door several weeks earlier and hadn’t been in it since. She was currently working off her kitchen table and the trunk of her car. She couldn’t figure out how to get out of the mess
